Viewing Results on the CAASPP website |
Once the assessment has been completed by the students and all hand-scoring items have been completed, you will have the opportunity to see the results on the CAASPP website.
Pros: Data posts quickly; easy to login on any device; ICA scores are posted the same way as SBAC scores
Cons: Data is limited to a 1,2,3 score with no item analysis; all student scores from grade level mixed in to report |
Reviewing Assessments with Students |
After students have taken the assigned assessment as a class, there are multiple options for teachers to review the assessments with students. It can be as basic as showing the items on the projector to as complex as doing an item analysis using a separate app like Nearpod. This is one of the most powerful ways to utilize CAASPP assessments because it gives a chance to inform instruction through individual student response rather than just looking at results on a 1-2-3 scale.
